• Workshops are capped to maintain an interactive, hands-on environment where questions are expected and encouraged.​

These sessions are built for those who are new to Liaison products, returning after some time away, or ready for a structured refresher. The emphasis is on practice over theory, so you log in, click through workflows, and see how changes in configuration affect your real admissions work.​

• Facilitators are product specialists who understand both the software and day-to-day realities of admissions offices.​
• You learn alongside peers from a range of institutions, which means you leave with new ideas, templates, and process tweaks to try at home.​
• Because these are pre-conference sessions, you can keep the conversation going throughout the main conference days with presenters and fellow attendees.​

One of the featured pre-conference options is “Core Features: Using WebAdMIT to Manage Your Applicant Pool,” built with new and transitioning WebAdMIT users in mind. It is ideal if you have recently joined an admissions team, inherited WebAdMIT responsibilities, or want to rebuild your understanding of the platform’s foundations.​

• The workshop walks through key tools such as Work Groups, Local Statuses, Custom Fields, and Export Manager so you can manage your applicant pool with clarity and control.​
• You’ll practice organizing and filtering applicants, communicating effectively, and tracking candidates as they move through every stage of your process.​
• By the end of the session, you have a clear, repeatable approach to using WebAdMIT to streamline workflows and reduce manual tracking in spreadsheets or inboxes.​

In this “day in the life” style experience, you walk through typical recruitment or retention tasks using real-world scenarios, not abstract demos. You’ll learn:

• How to move smoothly through the interface so you spend less time clicking around and more time acting on insights.

Along the way, you get hands-on practice with searching, list building, and basic reporting, making it easier to answer urgent questions from campus colleagues. Whether you are brand new to TargetX or ready to formalize what you have picked up on the job, this course gives you the foundation you need to take full advantage of the CRM’s capabilities.​

For teams already comfortable in TargetX, a spotlight session on using Salesforce Flows to enhance TargetX tools and processes shows how to automate the work that currently eats up time and inbox space. Flows let you translate your real admissions and student success policies into guided, automated steps that run behind the scenes.

Topics covered include:

• Triggering a task when a student reaches a certain stage.
• Updating fields when a form is submitted.
• Sending timely outreach based on engagement.

Flows can orchestrate all of this with fewer manual touches and fewer opportunities for error. In this session, you explore concrete examples tailored to recruitment, application management, and retention, seeing how thoughtfully designed Flows can extend TargetX functionality instead of replacing it. You leave with practical ideas and patterns you can adapt on your own campus to streamline processes and support a more proactive, data-informed culture.
