Liaison works with institutions to determine program fit and guide requirements, implementation, and timing.

BusinessCAS and EngineeringCAS are consolidating into GradCAS beginning with the July 2027 application cycle. Current BusinessCAS and EngineeringCAS programs will transition to the broader GradCAS platform while continuing to maintain the program-specific requirements and processes their applicants need.

GradCAS brings the application, services, data, and support together in one place, helping institutions simplify application management while giving teams more capacity to focus on recruitment, applicant engagement, and other strategic priorities. Graduate admissions teams are being asked to reach prospective students, manage increasingly complex recruitment and application processes, and make better use of data—often with limited staff time and resources.

Beginning in summer 2027, Liaison is moving to one GradCAS processing fee per applicant rather than an additional GradCAS processing fee for every participating institution to which that applicant applies. The new model is designed to make it more affordable for applicants to apply to multiple participating graduate programs. Institution-level application fees may still apply.
