To ensure that its solutions make schools’ existing processes more efficient, Liaison has introduced CAS API to facilitate the transfer of data from Liaison’s platforms to any academic institutions’ existing Slate systems.

CAS API Slate integration allows you to automatically create Slate application records from the BusinessCAS, EngineeringCAS and GradCAS application at the point of submission. The integration also allows you to attach documents from CAS to the specific Slate records. You can create these records without writing custom scripts.

Instant responses for better outcomes

As part of this enhancement, the new “CAS In Progress to Slate Inquiry” standard integration will enable schools to automatically create Slate Inquiry records as soon as applicants first express interest in one of the school’s CAS programs.

The CAS API’s event-driven push capability responds instantly to applicant actions, providing real-time access to started application data. Since applicants are more likely to enroll at institutions that respond to their inquiries quickly, this real-time integration can give schools an edge as they drive to meet their integration goals.

“The CAS In Progress to Slate Inquiry integration gives schools access to applicant contact information as soon as they start an application,” said Liaison Client Delivery Manager Greg Martin. “This integration will enable schools to actively drive applicants to submit their applications. Research shows that applicants are more likely to enroll at institutions that respond to them more quickly, so this integration will give schools using CAS and Slate a powerful tool to drive towards their enrollment goals. ”
