The Value of experience: LIAISON | Seattle

Liaison
Mar 8, 2023

~ As told by Northland Pioneer College ~

Our time spent on February 14th – 17th was well worth it! Our experience began on the 14th as we traveled three hours to the airport to catch our flight, and it ended on the 17th as we flew from Seattle to Phoenix and made the three-hour drive back home. The 15th and 16th, the experience: LIAISON days, were what made the long trip worth our time.

Although we were first-time attendees and presenters, the LIAISON staff treated us as though we were long-time friends. In preparation for the event, the marketing staff worked closely with us to ensure we had what we needed to be successful presenters. This is the first time we have received this kind of support as presenters at a conference and it didn’t stop once we arrived. The presentation was seamless with lots of support during and afterwards.

Our Client Success Manager, Jeremy Schaefer, not only took us to dinner after our presentation but made sure our two days were successful and worthwhile. Along with networking with peers and well-constructed conversations with other attendees, even VP’s, founders, and the President of Liaison all gave us their time. We left experience: LIAISON feeling like a part of a team that was much bigger than Northland Pioneer College.

Our time at experience: LIAISON was great. We learned:

  • ways we can improve how we are using TargetX
  • how to support and be inclusive of our Native American students better
  • tips and tricks on how to improve enrollment management
  • how other LIAISON products could help us in our journey of increasing student success

On top of learning during the breakout sessions, we had opportunities to learn from keynote speakers, table discussions, and the connections we made with other colleges, universities, and Liaison staff. We look forward to attending experience: LIAISON next year.
