Aug 5, 2016

Eleven institutions now streamlining their graduate application processes through PSYCAS

WASHINGTON (Aug. 5, 2016) – The American Psychological Association announced today that nine new partners have joined PSYCAS, the association’s centralized application service for candidates in master’s and doctoral psychology programs. Working with Liaison International, the leading provider of higher education admissions management and enrollment marketing solutions, the APA introduced PSYCAS in January 2015. Over the last year and a half, the list of institutions participating in PSYCAS has quickly grown from its original four partners to thirteen institutions across the United States.

PSYCAS helps participating graduate psychology programs improve their applicant experience while leveraging unparalleled reporting capabilities and real-time metrics to make more strategic enrollment decisions. The following programs have joined the original beta user group of Mercer University Health Sciences Center and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine on PSYCAS:

  • Long Island University Post
  • Marist College
  • Temple University
  • Touro CollegeNew York
  • University of La Verne
  • Widener University
  • Argosy University
  • Palo Alto University
  • Yeshiva University, Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology

“PSYCAS was a given for us,” said Bill Froming, Provost at Palo Alto University. “Not only does the solution offer services and support that will help us meet our strategic goals related to expanding the reach of our programs, but it’s APA endorsed and powered by an organization that processes over one million applications each year. We look forward to seeing results during the next application cycle.”

“We’re pleased to see both the quality of schools and the speed with which the APA has added schools to its CAS,” added George Haddad, Founder and CEO of Liaison. “We look forward to continuing our partnership to advance APA’s goal of providing state-of-the-art, value-added admissions services to the member institutions.”
