The ResidencyCAS Program Portal is designed to support the review, evaluation, and selection of applicants for residency training positions by authorized program personnel. The portal includes tools for viewing applications, organizing applicants into segments, assigning reviewers, configuring review phases, and using scoring and dashboard features as part of a residency program’s application review and interview process.
Access to the Program Portal should be limited to authorized users approved by the residency program. Users may access applicant information only to the extent necessary to carry out legitimate program review and administrative responsibilities.
All applicant and student information accessed through the Program Portal must be treated as confidential. Information available through the portal may be used only for purposes directly related to evaluating, interviewing, ranking and selecting applicants for training positions at a user’s institution. This includes information entered directly into an application as well as all supplemental materials, such as letters of recommendation, photographs, examination scores, transcripts, and other supporting documents.
Applicant materials and related data may not be used for personal, commercial, promotional, or marketing purposes, and may not be sold, licensed, shared, or otherwise disclosed to individuals or organizations that are not directly involved in the program's residency selection or administration process.
Except as required by institutional policy or applicable law, users should not print, download, email, forward, or otherwise redistribute applicant documents or data outside the secure institutional systems and personnel involved in the selection process.
Users may not access or use applicant information for inappropriate or unrelated purposes, including unlawful discrimination, harassment, retaliation, curiosity, competitive intelligence gathering, or any purpose unrelated to consideration for a residency position.
Applicant data may not be used to profile applicants for non-permitted purposes, or to contact applicants for research studies, surveys, recruitment efforts, or other activities not related to the selection and match process before completion of the applicable Match or residency selection process.
Any scoring systems, analytics, dashboards, or structured review tools available in the portal are intended to support holistic application review and informed decision-making. These tools should not replace independent professional judgment, institutional policy, or applicable legal and accreditation requirements.
Programs are responsible for maintaining appropriate access controls and should promptly revoke access for individuals who no longer participate in the residency selection process. Any suspected misuse, unauthorized access, or inappropriate disclosure of applicant information should be reported promptly through appropriate institutional and ResidencyCAS support channels.
By accessing or using the ResidencyCAS Program Portal, users agree to comply with these Terms of Use, all applicable institutional confidentiality and records policies, and any additional Liaison or program-specific access conditions governing the portal.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in suspension or termination of access, institutional action, and any other remedies permitted under applicable policy or law.
