Texas Tech University Graduate School Streamlines Admissions with Liaison International’s UniCAS
Liaison’s Centralized Application Service will innovate the student experience while supporting the unique needs of individual programs across the Graduate School.
WATERTOWN, Mass. (February 7, 2017) — Liaison International, the leader in higher education admissions management and enrollment marketing solutions, announced today that it has been selected by Texas Tech University’s Graduate School to enhance its applicant experience and streamline the admissions process. The Graduate School, which formerly processed applications through ApplyTexas, is joining over 5,000 programs at over 800 campuses that have partnered with Liaison.
“Our students go on to tackle complex challenges in every sector of the economy, making significant and lasting contributions locally, nationally and internationally. It’s imperative that our admissions officers have the resources they need to ensure they’re attracting, engaging and accepting the right candidates for this important work,” shared Dr. Mark Sheridan, Dean of Texas Tech University Graduate School. “With two decades of experience streamlining admissions, Liaison is uniquely positioned to offer these resources to our graduate programs.”
With UniCAS, Texas Tech will apply common standards to admissions data to make centralized reporting possible while enabling each graduate program to manage their unique branding, establish program specific requirements and define their review processes. UniCAS will help the Graduate School’s admissions back office move toward a paperless, efficient environment. The new application will allow students to access real-time application status updates over a device of their choosing.
“We developed our UniCAS specifically to help universities meet ambitious admissions goals like those that Texas Tech has for its graduate programs,” said George Haddad, Founder and CEO at Liaison. “UniCAS will offer an enhanced experience to the over 11,000 applicants who consider the University’s graduate programs each year. At the same time, it will provide the actionable data needed to make quicker, more strategic admissions decisions.”
