PostbacCAS Scholarship Update

During each application cycle, Liaison International awards two $5,000 scholarships to students who matriculate into a terminal degree after completing a post-baccalaureate program hosted in PostbacCAS.

We received many applications in both the Career Changer and Academic Enhancer categories. Our judges are hard at work reviewing the applications to finalize winners for the 2019-2020 application cycle by November 2, 2020.

Please note, we will be notifying Program Directors at each winner’s institution, so they can update their students. Each winner will receive $5,000 that will be sent directly to the institution. The December issue of this newsletter will carry profiles of this year’s scholarship recipients.

Fee Collection, Reconciliation and Remittance

PostbacCAS can collect program fees (in addition to the core application fee) on your behalf. You can also purchase additional coupon codes from the CAS that waives the application fee for prospective students. We understand this can be a complex process and have updated all related documentation in our Help Center. We hope the updated documentation provides more transparency about this process.

Coupon codes can now be purchased easily by visiting this link.

Details on the fee collection and reconciliation process can be found here.

Partnership with Kira Talent

We have partnered with Kira Talent to integrate on-demand, timed video, and timed-written assessments to the CAS application. Due to officially launch by the end of the year, the integration with Kira Talent was a strategic decision to augment the CAS technology to help you meet your admissions and enrollment challenges exacerbated by the 2020 pandemic.

As travel restrictions curtail your recruitment efforts and you evolve your admissions and enrollment practices to meet social distancing guidelines, the ability to pair timed video and written assessments with CAS will make the application experience easier and more streamlined for both you and your applicants.

Beyond the applicant experience, as you restructure your workflows so more staff can work from home, often at odd hours to accommodate childcare, the ability to review applications collaboratively and remotely has never been more urgent. This integration will make these processes more efficient so that you can continue to meet enrollment goals without sacrificing the quality of your admissions review process.

You can request a Kira Talent demo by visiting their website here. Please notify your Account Manager if you are considering using Kira Talent and would like to take advantage of the integration with the CAS application.

TargetX Acquisition

We have acquired TargetX, a CRM solution for full student lifecycle management, to provide you with opportunities to reach potential applicants earlier and engage students, not only after they enter the classroom, but when they are about to enter the workforce and beyond.

The acquisition, which took place in early October, focused on combining TargetX’s recruitment and retention software built on the Salesforce platform, with our current software, to complete the full lifecycle solution. Together, we will now serve nearly 1,500 colleges and universities.

We are still early in joining forces to provide our users with a more powerful enrolment management solution. Rest assured that any changes to our products that emerge from the acquisition will be communicated to you by your Account Manager or Client Success Manager.
