The Data Is In: Lessons from the Annual PostbacCAS Applicant Report

Liaison’s 2019-2020 PostbacCAS Cycle Report aggregates data for all verified applicants who submitted through the Centralized Application Service (CAS) for postbac programs during the 2019-2020 admission cycle.

As soon as the COVID-19 outbreak began to spread across the globe in early 2020, it became apparent to admissions professionals that the “old way” of recruiting and admitting best-fit postbaccalaureate applicants would no longer suffice.

Instead of continuing to operate in a vacuum, postbac program leaders began to appreciate the importance of using more — and better — resources to accomplish their institutions’ goals. Their new outlook includes leveraging the power of more effective partnerships, technology and insights — all of which are available to members of PostbacCAS, the first and only Centralized Application Service (CAS)  for postbac programs.

Now, thanks to Liaison’s 2019-2020 PostbacCAS Cycle Report, your postbac program can also easily benchmark its most recent applicant and enrollment trends against those of other postbac institutions.

During Liaison’s upcoming webinar, “Letting the Data Drive: Lessons from the Annual PostbacCAS Applicant Report,” leaders of postbac programs will react to the insights gained through the recently published second annual PostbacCAS Applicant Report. Speakers include: Brooke Birdsong, Associate Director of Admissions at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences; Bob Rarig, Ph.D., Senior Associate Director Post Baccalaureate Pre-Health Programs at Temple University and; Robert Ruiz, Managing Director of PostbacCAS.

They’ll cover how they’ve used data from 12,000 applications submitted to over 115 postbac programs across the U.S. to:

  • Better predict their future enrollment numbers.
  • Influence programmatic decisions moving forward.
  • Make connections with fellow members of PostbacCAS, the Community of postbac leaders driving the industry forward.

To hear the entire conversation, register now to attend “Letting the Data Drive: Lessons from the Annual PostbacCAS Applicant Report.”
