Due to changing demographics, New England colleges will likely focus recruiting efforts on students who are currently underrepresented in the area.

That’s how much colleges and universities raised via fundraising in the fiscal year ending January 31, according to results from the latest version of the annual Voluntary Support of Education survey from the Council for Aid to Education. Personal giving by alumni proved to be responsible for much of the growth in 2017.
