The Common Application’s CEO to Set the Tone for Event Focused on Technology-driven Evolution of College Admissions

Every summer, Liaison International hosts its association and higher education institution partners for two days of sharing best practices around recruitment and enrollment marketing. Taking place in Boston this year, the fourth annual Enrollment Marketing Platform (EMP) Summit will feature a keynote speaker recognizable to all those who have a hand in college admissions: The Common Application’s CEO Jenny Rickard.

During Addressing the Continually Evolving Complexities of College Choice, Rickard will share how The Common Application responds to and anticipates member and student needs as it plans for the future. “We’ve gained incredible insight into admissions as we’ve evolved into an online application platform that serves more than one million individual applicants collectively applying to more than 700 institutions annually. I’m excited to share how we’ve managed to offer a consistent admissions experience to all stakeholders even as the higher education landscape has transformed,” shared Rickard.

“We look forward to the Summit since it’s an opportunity to celebrate both our long-standing and our new partnerships, including our recently announced collaboration with The Common Application to optimize the transfer application process,” said Scott Mallen, president of Liaison’s CRM division. “The conversations that we have with the admissions community at this event will drive Liaison’s product innovations and the launch of new services to better support those who use them.”

In addition to the keynote delivered by Rickard, the Summit agenda includes sessions focused on EMP best practices and success stories from both admissions officers and associations. Topics to be covered include enrollment marketing, association onboarding and event management. Due to popular demand, invaluable one-on-one training sessions with Liaison staff will also take place throughout the member event.
