Increased Demand for Strategic Enrollment Solutions to Help Institutions More Effectively Recruit and Admit ‘Best Fit’ Students

Watertown, Mass. – (September 23, 2015)Liaison, the leader in admissions management and enrollment marketing solutions for higher education, reached a major milestone, with more than five million applications processed for many of the leading institutions across the country. The company continues to see substantial growth, and now powers strategic enrollment and admissions initiatives for over 5,000 schools and programs, with a presence on virtually every campus in the U.S.In the last quarter, Liaison processed 62 percent more applications compared to the same quarter last year, and is now providing solutions such as application management, marketing and CRM for Boston University, Harvard Chan School of Public Health, Purdue University Calumet and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Liaison’s substantial growth has been fueled by their CAS (Centralized Application Service), and UniCAS solutions as well as their EMP (Enrollment Marketing Platform). Providing institutions the ability to manage complex admissions processes across schools and programs coupled with the ability to create personalized communication campaigns to reach prospective students has proven to be a very effective mix of tools that institutions are using to improve their enrollment results.

“One of the big opportunities we see in the coming years is to more fully engage with our applicants and to do so in more meaningful ways,” said Vincent W. James, Director of Admissions, Harvard Chan School of Public Health. “We process more than 2,000 applications during the month of January alone – it’s a very tight timeframe.  Liaison’s CAS solution allows one person to manage the faculty review process across eight departments and programs, and gives us the tools we need to communicate regularly with those applicants and deliver a better experience to them.”

Beyond application processing and effectively communicating with prospective students, Liaison helps institutions holistically measure the effectiveness of their outreach campaigns which allows them to be much more nimble with their enrollment strategy and make changes whenever necessary.

“We are honored to work with leading institutions to help create exceptional experiences for applicants, from a student’s first interest to first day on campus,” said Michael Behringer, CEO and president at Liaison. “As we continue to make investments to be the most strategic partner for higher ed institutions, our focus is to solve tough admissions and enrollment challenges, from identifying the right candidates, to creating lasting relationships with applicants. This includes analyzing the growth, quality, and yield of an institution’s applicant pool, and easing back-office administrative burdens – to support strategic decisions across the enrollment process.”
